About Us
The Need
We are passionate about spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to hard-to-reach places, including some right here in the United States. Funding urban and rural outreach ministries, especially those addressing addiction and substance use disorder, is extremely challenging. Major corporate foundations ceased support for overtly evangelical movements long ago, and most private foundations have also followed this trend. As a result, the financial responsibility for these vital ministries has largely fallen to wealthy private donors and family foundations. Moreover, current trends in philanthropy are pushing these ministries to become 'self-sustaining'. This shift has placed incredible hardship on essential Gospel ministries that are working tirelessly to advance The Gospel in these under-reached place.
How We're Helping
At Grace Roots, our mission goes beyond simply acknowledging vital ministries with a quick "attaboy". We desire to encourage those living in the day to day challenges of ministry by walking alongside for the long haul. We do this by creating and running top shelf events that produce operating revenue for ministries. We want to support the people doing the work because they are the ones bringing the Gospel to hard to reach places.
Who We Are Helping
We support any work that is Gospel oriented, which can be challenging to fund. Practically speaking, we collaborate with other Christian outreach and discipleship programs, church plants, and foreign missions that focus on bringing the Gospel to under-reached and under-resourced places.
